The fragrance

Micro Love is an electric, aerial, diffusive scent that evokes the vision of a post-modern stage with spires resembling radio-aerials. It is with this explosive skyline that the Irish band U2, during its ZOO TV tour, opens the curtains on the future. One of the most groundbreaking music events in Rock history, which marks a radical change in form and discloses a message on the persuasive nature of technology that is able to elicit emotions through binary codes and microchips. Master perfumer Dominique Ropion celebrates this emotional connection through an accord, where pure shades of White Cedar Wood and Ambergris are animated by the emotional surge of crispy apple, ozonic accord and suede. Master Ropion, through the aesthetic canons of high perfumery, performs a pure, modern and contemporary scent.

Inspiration

A frenzy of images and sounds, impossible to be elaborated upon, which lead to saturation and blurs the boundaries between reality and fiction.

Unforgettable memories

ZOO TV Tour. “Fatal flaw”where everything is transformed. WHAT DO YOU WANT? IT IS VERY SIMPLE. EVERYTHING YOU KNOW IS WRONG. Alternating messages on a complex high-tech system, a chaotic channel hopping of writing and images. Is “The Fly”, U2 frontman Bono Vox’s alter ego, to give start to a new vision of rock?Everything is incredibly hands-on.
In Zoo TV Tour, U2 sacralises the alliance of machines and humans, through an artistic, post-modern installation that reflects the crippling cacophony of a wired era through a massive mosaic of TV screens mixing war scenes with old sitcoms, cooking shows with sports shows, electronic sounds breaking into Ode To Joy, a mixture of serious and humorous expression of the contemporary reality. An emotional overload, unveiling both the bright and dark sides of technology.

Micro Love

Behind the name

Micro Love sanctions the alliance of emotional universe and modern Era. Click! Everything is connected. Actions and emotions are interdependent. The matter is pure energy.

Tone

The chosen color is the color of pureness. It’s the instant when everything turns into energy.

From music notes to olfactory notes

The electricity, which saturates the air before the go live, is expressed by an ozonic accord which gives shape to Micro Love’s aerial essentiality. Cinnamon notes explicate the heart, which melts with the green vegetal freshness of violet notes, while clary sage creates an ethereal and elusive atmosphere. The union of White Cedarwood and Ambergris is the scenography of the interconnection between feelings and technology.

Micro Love Playlist

"Huge screens enlighten the crowd and wash our brain: the world is connected, electricity and love are in the air!"
